Mot Los Angeles 2028

Kommer vi att få se en svensk surfare på OS redan 2028?

Vi tror att möjligheten finns, och därför gör Svenska Surfförbundet en tydlig satsning mot de olympiska spelen i Los Angeles 2028.

Vägen dit går bland annat via ISA World Surfing Games 2027 och European Surfing Championships 2027, som blir viktiga kvaltävlingar på resan mot OS.

Som en del av satsningen har vi utsett Kevin Grant till General Manager för vårt olympiska program. Med hans erfarenhet, engagemang och långsiktiga perspektiv ser vi fram emot nästa steg i utvecklingen av svensk tävlingssurfing.

Några ord från Kevin själv:

“I am very excited about the opportunity to lead the Olympic National Team and am confident to step into this role as the GM. Development of the team is important and more so the development of the athletes as representatives of themselves and their country. Thank you for the support of the SSA and the Swedish Olympic Committee in this endeavor. Together we are establishing a strong foundation for the future of surfing.”
