SSA is a member of The International Surfing Association (ISA) as well as of the European Surfing Federation (ESF).

The Swedish Surfing Association (SSA), also known as “Svenska Surfförbundet”, was founded in 1985 to participate with a national team at the European Championship in Ireland.
